We are bookworms, movie maniacs, and story addicts. We grew up reading Tolkien, Howard, Herbert, Dick, & Lem. We watched Willow, Blade Runner, Never Ending Story, & Robin Hood.

And yet, we don’t write books, we don’t make movies. We make board games that tell stories. 

 Portal Games was founded in 1999 by Ignacy Trzewiczek in Gliwice, Poland. What started with Ignacy and a few friends has grown to become a company internationally recognized and awarded for beautiful, story-driven games year after year.

 Now, celebrating it's 20th year, Portal Games can look back at numerous titles that have transported players to different worlds, and provided them with countless experiences they can talk about again and again. But we're not just looking backwards! With this incredible milestone come plans to grow, expand, and push ourselves to give our customers new adventures, new ways to play, and new experiences.
